Welcome to my Updates Page! Here I will post any quick info I'd like to post, or any
new updates I just want to quickly share in one place.

2/20/05: Every year I sponsor one or more specialty classes for Ferret Fandango, the PFCS-sponsored annual ferret show. In return I get to put a full page ad in the show book. So, each year I run a tribute ad, or a memorial ad, for some of my kids... and I decided to post them here. I only have 2002, 2003, and 2005 up at the moment, but if you're interested, take a peek. See them now!

This
is Josie... a truly special soul who from the moment I first heard
about her I knew that in my heart she was meant to be with me. Josie
was dumped along with 12 other ferrets at the Humane Society in
Harrisburg. While the other
12 found a home, the workers at the Humane Society felt that Josie
was not doing well and contacted Tracy to take Josie in. Josie is
finally beginning to adapt, but slowly. It is very clear that this
ferret was not shown the love and compassion that a ferret deserves.
She had no idea what Ferretone was, and she still doesn't quite
understand what to do with toys. She is starting to learn "love"
and with each passing day I feel her becoming more relaxed and at
home with me. She
is such a sweet, wonderful girl, I give her this promise, that she
will be loved
and well cared for for the rest of her life.

My Connie passed away on February 3, 2003. She has gone to be
with the love of her life,
her forevermate, Bonnie. I am grateful to know they are together
again, but they are
very much missed.

Here's little Kerplunk in the hospital! He's got an IV, which
is what you see on his leg- they've got it all wrapped up. Poor
sweet little boy! (Click photo for full size)

Here is Tanglefoot... he's in the
hospital too, to be a blood donor for Kerplunk's blood transfusion!
He's a hero... but when we told him why he was there, he put his
little paws out and said NOOOOO! Get me outta here!!!!
